The College is affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh for B.A.I, II & III .

A candidate, who has passed 10+2 class examination from  Panjab  School Education Board or other recognized Board shall be eligible to seek admission to B.A.I . The admission to this class shall be made according to the Panjab University rules.

Eligibility for Compartment Candidate of +2 Examination for Admission to B.A.I.

A candidate who has been placed under compartment in the +2 examination conducted by Board /Body Council/University in India shall be eligible for admission to the Ist year of B.A. course under 10+2+3 system of education provided shall fulfil the following candidate:

1. Her name figures in the list of eligible candidates.

2. She should have been placed in compartment in one subject only.

3. That a candidate who has been placed under compartment/re-appear in one subject only with at least 20% marks in the subject in which she has been placed in comparment in the +2 examination conducted by the Open School  Board in India shall be eligible to seek admission to the Ist year of B.A.course under 10+2+3 system of education.

4. She should have obtained the requisite percentage of marks in the aggregate of the examination as laid down in the relevant regulations.

Provided that a candidate joining the B.A.Ist year class should have obtained at least 33% marks in the aggregate of all the subjects (including the marks obtained by her in the subject of compartment) taken up by her at the +2 examination.

2. Compulsory Punjabi/History and Culture of Punjab

3. Environmental Education

(B) Every candidate shall offer any three subjects from the following:

1. History/Mathematics (Any One)

2. Elective Punjabi/Elective English/Elective Hindi (Any One)

3.  Economics

4. Political Science

5. Sanskrit
